Cayman Connection is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young Caymanians studying or training overseas by providing resources, support, and community engagement.

To be the leading not-for-profit network that supports and empowers Caymanian students and trainees abroad to thrive academically, socially, and professionally, ensuring they return home as prepared and connected individuals who contribute to the Cayman Islands’ growth.
OUR MISSION
To empower and support Caymanians studying and training overseas by providing comprehensive services, resources, and community engagement opportunities that foster their personal, academic, and professional growth. We aim to nurture their transition from the Cayman Islands to life abroad, ensuring they remain connected to their roots and are fully prepared to reintegrate and contribute meaningfully to the Cayman workforce and wider community upon their return.

Exposing members to Caymanians who have achieved success in various industries to inspire and educate students, demonstrating that they can achieve their goals by seeing real-life examples of those who have navigated similar paths.

- Educational and supportive virtual webinars to connect and inform members.
- Fun and informative in person events to bring members together to network and
learn together. - Community channels to regularly connect members across the globe and collectively celebrate Caymanian culture and heritage.

Resources and support
- 121 student support to prioritise and protect members’ wellbeing and navigate obstacles effectively.
- Parent forum to reassure and build the confidence of parents of overseas students through updates and hosting community conversations.
- FAQs, tips and information to best prepare members for their overseas experience.
3. EMPOWER
Training and mentorship
- Annual Making Waves Awards programme celebrating Caymanians living overseas excelling in their respected field to inspire the next generation.
- Training opportunities to best prepare members joining or re-entering the workforce upon their return to the Cayman Islands.
- 121 Mentoring to connect members to Caymanian professionals for ongoing support and CPD.
