Cayman Thanksgiving

Cayman Thanksgiving is celebrated on the weekend of 4-5 December. The national event offers the Caymanian diaspora as well as those with ties to the Cayman Islands, a wonderful opportunity to reflect and express gratitude, support local farmers, prepare traditional Caymanian meals, and unite with family, friends, and neighbours (in person and virtually). Demonstrating “Caymankindness” to anyone in need is also a essential focus of the three-day observance.

We encourage all our members to #givethanks for the entire weekend, replacing grumbles with gratitude! Not always easy, but the more we learn to appreciate the good all around us, the more we will realise how #blessed we are. We’re taking a tip from others at home and observing a #nocomplaints weekend!
