Claire lived on Grand Cayman from 1976 to 2002.  Claire’s father Peter Larder ran CIBC, and was Chef de Mission of the Cayman Olympic committee, her mother Meg Larder, ran the Pines and worked with various community programmes. Claire eventually settled in Coutts (Cayman) taking a secondment to experience working in London in 2002, following hurricane Ivan, Claire ended up staying in the UK and is now delighted to be utalising her skills to assist the network of Caymanians overseas.

I have a strong varied business network in the UK and a drive to support people grow and reach their full potential.  I am a coach and so learning for the benefit of others is key to my ethos.  I want to support members of Cayman Connection in building deep, beneficial networks both in the UK and back home and to encourage and support the islands and our people to be resilient, protected and loved by all.

My heart and soul belong in Cayman, my roots are firmly in the mangroves and one day I’ll get back home.
