Virtual Yard Meetings – Cayman Community support meetings for Caymanians Overseas
YARD MEETINGS HAPPEN REGULARLY – TIMINGS WILL BE POSTED HERE.
These online sessions will be held on Zoom, hosted by Kate Kandiah and facilitated by Tom McCallum
Tom is a Caymanian now based in London who is a professional sounding board to leaders and also has extensive crisis leadership experience, including in the aftermath of Ivan, with responsibility for hundreds of staff and their families as well as a key national role in bringing tourism back.
At our “CCUK Online Meet-up” we will talk through a few key topics for all of us as individuals at this time, then open to sharing and questions.
On the call we offer an online community space to share your situation, your concerns and allow you a safe, confidential environment to ask for support.
If you have particular situation or concern that you would like to communicate with us PRIOR to the call please let us know by reply, we will be collecting questions for the call, we can then handle the enquiry sensitively and anonymously during the call should you wish.
To keep the call succinct and helpful, we will be addressing the following three items for each person on the call who wishes to share:
1) Your Situation
2) Your Concerns
3) Your Needs/Ask – is there something you need now, or generally how do you think the community can support you.
We will give you the opportunity to share the above and then offer space for general conversation. We will concentrate on the above three topics only and will not be using this forum to discuss current COVID-19 developments, Government policies or procedures or general conversation about what is in the media, we wish to focus only on individuals’ personal concerns and needs.
