In January we explored mental health and mindfulness, culminating in our Cultural Wellbeing webinar.

In February we focussed on PHYSICAL FITNESS. The connection between our mind and our body is indisputable. We want to challenge our members to reach new levels of fitness of the mind and the body. We want to help each other to achieve fitness goals, particularly those of us still in lockdown in the UK!

A group of 15 members joined together for “FIT 4 FEB: PROVE YOU MOVED” challenge, as we worked to move more over a period of 2 weeks from 10th to 24th February.

The Fit 4 Feb challenge led to our MIND-BODY Workshop at 3pm on 24 February.

The group shared messages of support and encouragement, prompts, fitness videos and messages from fitness pros in Cayman.

Details on the competition:

  1. Join the Fit4Feb Whatsapp group for support, reminders and to share your moves.
  2. Post 2 x comments on the Fit 4 Feb page
  3. Engage on Social Media – Facebook, Instagram, LInkedIN, and/or Twitter – post, tweet, retweet, comment, tag, share – on our page or your page with our tag – and prove you moved!

We want to help you achieve your movement goals – so for your chance to win the you must:

Post a minimum of two (2) comments on the Fit4Feb web page.
Posts should include: (i) One comment as you begin, to include: why you are signing up/what you hope to achieve/how the group can support you, and (ii) one post before 12:00 midday UK time on 24 February 2021 to say how you felt about the 2 weeks. Posts can be made any time between 10th February and 24th February at 12:00 midday UK time when the competition will close.

Join the Fit4Feb Whatsapp Group and/or Engage with our Fit4Feb posts from 10-24 February on Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, LInkedIN, and/or Twitter) to share your progress throughout the two weeks.

PROVE YOU MOVED Ts&Cs:

To be in for a win you will need to share proof of your movements in the following form:
– Screenshots of your tracker app – run, walk, cycle
– Screenshots of your steps monitor
– Photographs and/or video of you in action
– anything creative to prove to us you are joining in and moving!

These can be shared via Whataspp to the Whatasapp Fit4Feb Group or to the Fit4Feb posts on SOCIAL MEDIA.
