July 5 2020 marks the 72nd anniversary of the NHS and Social Care System.

As 2020 has been the most challenging year in NHS history we’d like to take this opportunity to recognise, reflect and remember the dedication, commitment, achievements, compassion and diversity of all 1.9 million people, across more than 350 different professions in the NHS and Social Care System some of which are our very own Caymanians.

Over the last few months these individuals have worked endlessly around the clock to tackle coronavirus and treat countless other unrelated medical issues pushing them beyond the call of duty, to break barriers, redesign services and create backup Nightingale hospitals around the country.

In light of the upcoming anniversary, we wish to give a huge thank you to these medical heroes and kindly askif you are a Caymanian or know of a Caymanian working in the NHS please encourage them to get in touch with us via hello@caymanconnection.org so that we can personally thank them for their hard work and dedication.

We wish to reassure all that we understand the high sensitivity of confidentiality of the healthcare system and will not disclose or publish any names of Caymanians that come forward, your thank you will be personal, if possible all we ask for is an anonymous quote that we can share with fellow Caymanians so they can understand about your experience and “be here with you”.

Tell us you if you work in the NHS, or in social or health care overseas
