Cayman Connection Hosts Inaugural Sponsor and Partner Dinner

Cayman Connection proudly hosted its first Sponsor and Partner Dinner on 8 August 2026, bringing together valued supporters and partners of the organisation in conjunction with its annual Student Sunset Send-Off event.

The inaugural dinner provided an opportunity to recognise and thank the organisations and individuals who continue to support Cayman Connection’s mission of connecting, supporting and empowering Caymanian students and trainees throughout their educational and professional journeys.

The evening welcomed representatives and supporters from the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Caymanian Employment & Immigration, Cayman National Bank, Conyers, Maples Group, Mourant, Regus, Health City, Webster’s Tours, as well as Honourable Julie J. T. Hunter, JP, Parliamentary Secretary.

The gathering was not only an evening of appreciation but also an opportunity for meaningful conversation and collaboration. Guests shared valuable insights, feedback and recommendations on how Cayman Connection and its partners can continue to strengthen and improve the Caymanian student journey and better support the wider community.

From preparing young Caymanians for their transition from the Islands to pursuing education and training overseas, through to supporting their return home and transition into employment.

Marzeta Bodden, Cayman Connection Board Member, expressed her appreciation for the organisation’s sponsors and partners, saying:

“Our sponsors and partners play an incredibly important role in allowing Cayman Connection to do the work that we do. We are deeply grateful for their continued support, commitment and belief in our mission. Quite simply, we could not do what we do without them. This dinner was an opportunity not only to say thank you, but also to bring everyone together to listen, share ideas and explore how we can collectively continue improving the journey and experiences of Caymanian students and trainees.”

The Sponsor and Partner Dinner was held at Grand Old House restaurant, alongside Cayman Connection’s Student Sunset Send-Off, creating a special opportunity to celebrate the wider community that surrounds and supports Caymanian students as they prepare for their next chapter.

Cayman Connection extends its sincere gratitude to all its sponsors, partners and supporters for their continued commitment to investing in the future of Caymanian students and trainees.

Together, through collaboration, shared insight and a commitment to continuous improvement, Cayman Connection remains focused on strengthening the student journey and creating greater opportunities for Caymanians to thrive.

Cayman Connection is always keen to build meaningful partnerships with organisations and individuals who share its vision of supporting and empowering Caymanian students and trainees.
