CIGO-UK in the Yard

The CIGO-UK visits the Virtual Yard throughout the year to inform our members about their Cayman-focused activities in the UK, share their resources, and to remind us that the CIGO-UK is there to assist Caymanians overseas. Members are encouraged to attend the meetings to learn more about the Office’s work as an extension of the Cayman Islands Government, the events on their annual calendar and to get the latest updates on current affairs and activities taking place in the Cayman Islands.

In this session, we also talked about important UK occasions in which Cayman has a presence, such as Remembrance Sunday, COP26 and the Joint Ministerial Council for the Overseas Territories. The Cayman Islands Government Representative to the UK, Dr. Tasha Ebanks Garcia, comments on the Office’s participation in these events and the significance for our country.
