Cayman Connection proudly invites you to join us on da road this August to play Mas!
This year we are partnering with Mas band ELIMU to participate in the world-renowned Notting Hill Carnival in the UK! This will see our Cayman Connection family united, in person on bank holiday weekend, Monday, 28 August. In coming together, we aim to showcase the invaluable contributions that the Cayman Islands continues to make to marine conservation, more specifically our turtle research and protection, whilst positively promoting our three beautiful Islands to all.
Don’t miss out on London’s biggest street party, as the streets of West London are filled with Caribbean colours, music, and flavours during Notting Hill Carnival, established in 1966. Picture elaborate floats and costumed performers winding their way through the streets in the lively carnival parade, dance to the sound of steel pan bands and calypso music and take in the delicious smells from tempting food stalls along the route! We will have special guest appearances from Caymanian artists Mr. Notch, DJ Zeeky and our Carnival Queen for the day, former Miss Universe, Georgina Kerford!
