Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) 2020 – applications now being accepted
Health City Cayman Islands is currently accepting applications for our 2020 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program. This is a unique research and internship opportunity which provides real-time exposure to our JCI-accredited model of tertiary healthcare.
SURF application submissions deadline extended to Monday 11th May 2020
SURF is 1 July – 31 July 2020 and ten spaces are available (in Orthopedics, Cardiovascular Sciences, Nursing, Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine & Critical Care). There will be five spaces for University College of the Cayman Islands students and five spaces for overseas university students.

The application process for the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program at Health City Cayman Islands is now open. SURF is 1 July – 31 July 2020 and ten spaces are available (in Orthopedics, Cardiovascular Sciences, Nursing, Anesthesiology and
Emergency Medicine & Critical Care). Ideally, there will be five spaces for University College of the Cayman Islands students and five spaces for overseas university students.
Applicants should be:
• Recent high-school graduates who have been accepted into a relevant degree program or currently enrolled as an undergraduate at or a recent graduate of an accredited university;
• Pursuing a degree program leading to further studies or qualification in a medical field (e.g. BSc, BSN, MBBS);
• Be in good academic standing with (or have graduated with) a GPA of 3.00 or higher;
• Caymanian or Permanent Resident. Dependents of work-permit holders may be considered.
